Xbox and PC prices are out of control, and Microsoft clearly knows it

I used to upgrade my PC when it felt slow, but that's no longer possible because of rising hardware costs. Microsoft's strategy is evolving to meet this new reality, and two recent changes involving Windows and Xbox consoles are proof enough for me.
